I think that most of the 97 million or less, overweight Americans have convinced themselves that somehow can not begin to get fit and lose weight, until you spend too much on home gyms, exercise and fitness equipment or, worse diet pills. How I can make that assumption you ask?

Well someone is paying for all commercial expensive TV running 24 / 7 advertising their particular home gym or a piece of exercise equipment. You know, they have very good fit man or woman looking sexy Working tones, smiling all the time. People are buying this equipment otherwise the ads will stop running.

Indeed, instead of athletes toned in shape, why not show overweight people huffing and sweating away on treadmills and home gyms. Advertising psychology is all my friend and it works. You see, so you buy your home gym, treadmill or piece of equipment must be convinced that either you can not get fit without your computer, or your home gym equipment, will be much easier for you to achieve your fitness goals.

Here is where I think many people turn this into an impulse purchase. With the desire to get fit and lose weight, they buy the piece of fitness equipment as seen in trade with hope, idea or thought that will make it easier for them to lose weight and achieve your fitness goals.

Contracting muscles, muscle building, fat burning and calorie burning will take the job hard, whether you use a luxury home gym or a grassroots approach simpler.
